Mixed Choir is the introductory choir of Lathrop High School.  It is a large, non-auditioned choral ensemble comprised of beginning and intermediate singers.  This course covers introductory vocal technique, music literacy (including sight reading), music theory and music history.  Training in sight singing, choral blend, concert etiquette, expressive singing, and singing in parts will be developed throughout the year.  While mostly comprised of freshmen students, mixed choir is  open to any Lathrop High School student, regardless of previous experience.
